Membership Statement
Wodson Park Netball Club was founded on a love for netball and a desire to give everyone the chance to play our game, regardless of ability….and we are very proud of the club we have created.
Since our inception in November 2015, we’ve grown beyond our wildest dreams. But with this growth comes a commitment to maintain the highest standards across the club in everything we do.
To cope with the demand for membership we have continuously recruited and developed an army of volunteer coaches, umpires and match day delegates, training them in the “Wodson way”, to ensure our club runs smoothly and our girls and ladies enjoy the best netball experience we can deliver.
We’re working hard to ensure we continue to support and develop our volunteers and not overload or exhaust their good will and enthusiasm. So, to maintain our high standards, we have chosen to suspend new membership in certain age groups, until we can train more coaches and umpires to work with our players.
We’re still keen to hear from you if you’re interested in joining the Wodson family as a player, coach, umpire or supporter in the future!It may be the case that we have a space now but all future potential members should register their interest with us NOW and we’ll come back to you the minute we’re able to welcome you in to our club. Please note that all new applications to join the club must be through this process so that we can assess demand and review our training plans for coaches and helpers as required.
