The U8's met Hertford Hornets Orange tonight, and what a match................

1st Quarter 1-0
2nd Quarter 1-1
3rd Quarter 1-5
4th Quarter 1-5

The first quarter was amazing to watch, with all the team in their preferred positions, passing down the court, with change of direction to lose their defenders and some great interceptions, this really was a fantastic first quarter to watch, and to top it all they scored a goal, the first goal of the season. 1-0

Going into the second quarter and making rotations the team were not in their preferred positions, having said this they played really well, driving into the space and changing direction, however, Hornets were stronger this quarter and they managed to score a goal 1-1.

Third quarter, with rotations again taken place the team found themselves struggling to get the ball to their goal, not once giving up and giving 100% through out this quarter, this was tough and saw Hornets score 4 more goals. 1-5

Fourth and final quarter, the girls, giving 100% as always , played really well in this quarter, keeping possession, just not managing to get the all important rebounds in the circle in our shooting end. Final score 1-5
