U13 Sky had a testing match last night against a well rehearsed and stronger Hatfield side.

Looking after the girls in Mia’s absence, it was evident early on that this was going to be a long, uphill struggle but despite the girls struggling to get into the game they kept going and reached their target in the last quarter.

Thank you to Keira Awotar, Rosa Epstein and Cara Conway-Baker for helping out and playing up in such a tough game.

Player of the match went to Ivanna Ogbomo at GD, well done Ivanna.

If there was a Summer league Junior award for the nicest bunch of girls then this team would deserve it!

It’s fair to say you are having some tough matches at Wormley but it will only make you stronger in your league games at Nobel and that must be your focus going forward.
